When you arrive at the Cancun Airport normal transportation is in vans that are full of other passengers that are going to their hotel too. You must wait until the van is full to depart for your hotel. Further depending on where your hotel is located in the hotel zone you could be in the van for up to 1 hour waiting to arrive at your hotel. The cost of this transportation is about $12.00 US to $15.00 US per person. There are no private taxis from the airport as it is a federal zone.
